Who I am
Bianca Osteopathy is a sole practitioner practice operated by Bianca Montesi, a registered osteopath.

What information I collect
I may collect:
your name, contact details and date of birth;
-appointment and booking information;
-information about your health, symptoms, medical history, medication and previous treatment;
-clinical notes, examination findings, treatment and advice;
-exercise or rehabilitation information where relevant;
-payment information;
-communications relating to your care or appointments.
How I use your information
I use your information to provide and manage your care, keep accurate clinical records, arrange appointments, communicate with you about your treatment, provide exercise or rehabilitation where appropriate, process payments, and meet my professional, legal and regulatory responsibilities.
I do not use your clinical information for marketing purposes.
Health information is special category personal data and is handled in accordance with UK data protection law.
Services I use
I use third-party services to help run my practice, including:
-Acuity Scheduling for appointments and booking information;
-Rehab My Patient for exercise and rehabilitation programmes;
-SumUp for card and payment processing.
These providers process information on my behalf as part of providing their services. I do not store your full card details.
Sharing your information
I keep your information confidential and do not sell your personal information.
Information may be shared with another healthcare professional involved in your care where appropriate, normally with your knowledge and consent. Information may also be disclosed where I am legally required to do so or where necessary to protect someone from serious harm.
How long I keep your information
Clinical records are kept for a minimum of eight years after your last consultation. For patients who are children, records are kept until their 25th birthday.
Records may be retained for longer where there is a legitimate reason to do so. When information is no longer required, it will be securely deleted or disposed of.
Keeping your information secure
I take appropriate measures to protect your information from loss, unauthorised access, alteration or disclosure.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may have rights to access your information, ask for inaccurate information to be corrected, restrict or object to certain processing, and request deletion where legally possible.
Some rights are subject to legal and professional requirements, including requirements to retain clinical records.
